Miller Sakaguchi House
Edina, Minnesota

This 1950's rambler served two generations well. Now a new generation needs more room, more closets, yes, a total renovation. No room untouched, no refuge during construction, but these great clients enjoy a revitalized house including a new entrance and stair, gourmet kitchen, master bedroom suite with study, guest room suite, children's rooms opening to the backyard, mudroom with closets for all, decks, and more. The new circle drive introduces an addition that makes the whole house work better.

"David told me about the Preservation Award your fire station renovation won, and I just wanted to offer my congratulations. Of course, we think our house is worthy of an award as well. This morning when I went out to get the paper I looked back at the house and was struck by how lovely it is, how well it works with our new landscape, and how happy we are with how it all turned out. Thanks again for your delightful design."
